Char Dham (Uttarakhand)
Day 1: Chandigarh Haridwar/Rishikesh
Arrival in Chandigarh and transfer to Haridwar/Rishikesh by road. Check into the hotel and take some rest. Attend the evening Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri in Haridwar or Triveni Ghat in Rishikesh. Overnight stay in Haridwar/Rishikesh.
Day 2: Haridwar/Rishikesh - Barkot
After breakfast, drive from Haridwar/Rishikesh to Barkot via Dehradun and Mussoorie. En route, visit the Kempty Falls in Mussoorie. Overnight stay in Barkot.
Day 3: Barkot - Yamunotri
After breakfast, drive to Yamunotri, the first Dham of the Char Dham Yatra. Take a dip in the hot springs and visit the Yamunotri Temple. Overnight stay in Yamunotri.
Day 4: Barkot - Uttarkashi
After breakfast, trek back to Hanuman Chatti and drive to Uttarkashi, a scenic town on the banks of River Bhagirathi. Visit the Vishwanath Temple in Uttarkashi. Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.
Day 5: Barkot - Gangotri
After breakfast, drive to Gangotri, the second Dham of the Char Dham Yatra. Take a dip in the holy Ganges and visit the Gangotri Temple. Overnight stay in Gangotri.
Day 6: Barkot - Guptkashi
After breakfast, drive to Guptkashi via Tehri Dam and Rudraprayag. Overnight stay in Guptkashi.
Day 7: Guptkashi - Kedarnath
After breakfast, drive to Kedarnath, the third Dham of the Char Dham Yatra. Trek to Kedarnath Temple or hire a pony/palki/doli to reach the temple. Overnight stay in Kedarnath.
Day 8: Guptkashi - Badrinath
After breakfast, trek down to Guptkashi and drive to Badrinath, the last and most important Dham of the Char Dham Yatra. Visit the Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, and other important sites in Badrinath. Overnight stay in Badrinath.
Day 9: Rudraprayag - Joshimath
After breakfast, drive to Rudraprayag via Joshimath and Karanprayag. Overnight stay in Rudraprayag.
Day 10: Departure
After breakfast, drive back to Haridwar/Rishikesh and take an evening train/flight back to Chandigarh.
